- Please...
- $5??? The TAX that you pay alone for that 28.8K modem in your Pentium or
- 486 is more than $5. ;-))
- Even that bag of potatoe chips or candy bar you eat is around $2.
- So, you're saying a Commodore is not worth more than a couple of candy bars
- to you?
-
- It's not how much a Commodore is worth in market value. It's how much a
- Commodore is worth to you. In you case, you obviously don't value
- Commodore computers too highly.
-
- Certainly, if people selling off their Commodore computers are willing to
- sell at lower prices, buyers will benefit. However, the price should be
- something agreed by both buyer and seller, not just one side.
-
- I actually think most people advertising their used Commodore Computers are
- already selling them at dirt cheap prices, definitely not asking for
- anything that is unreasonable.
-
- While buyers buyers benefit by adding more to their old collection, I feel
- that it is rather sad to know that more and more people are leaving the
- Commodore arena permanetly.

- [that was a break] ;-))
-
- Aside from my two C128 systems, I also have a 386sx, running with 2megs of
- RAM and 80megbyte harddrive. I just don't have the money nor the craze
- to keep up with all the upgrades.
-
- I think that Pentium on your desk will become outdated in about three years
- from now. Then you'll have to shell out more money and upgrade to
- whatever...

- No thanks...
-
- BTW, please don't call Commodore computers "crap." This newsgroup is made
- for people who still appreciate and use Commodore computers. If you don't
- share the same enthusiam, don't read this newsgroup.
